Warrane residents heard of the outstanding contribution of the 12 students who graduate in 2011 at this year’s Valedicts’ Dinner on October 12.

Residents who live in Warrane for at least two years and are graduating are entitled to the Valedicts’ Plaque, and to the sometimes dubious honour of having a two minute encomium delivered by a fellow resident at the dinner.

Among this year’s valedicts were five of the ten residential tutors of the College, many of whom spoke on each other’s behalf. Vekram Sambasivam, the Head Tutor of the College, graduates this year with an MBBS after six years of loyal service to the College.

“It really did go so quickly, it has been an amazing ride” he said.
