Long-standing Dean bids farewell to Warrane College

Warrane College’s Dean, Arthur Escamilla, has announced he will step down as Dean of Warrane College at the end of Term 1, 2021.

Arthur has served the College residents and the broader community with distinction for over twelve years. He has also been a very active and involved Director of the board of Education Development Association, which manages the College.

Later this year, Arthur will pursue post-graduate studies at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, Italy.

There will be a Valedictory Dinner held in his honour in Term 2.

Alex Perrottet has been appointed Dean, effective 15 May 2021. Alex returned to Warrane at the beginning of this year after spending 11 years in New Zealand as a journalist for Radio New Zealand, the country’s national broadcaster. He is also a lawyer and was formerly Assistant Dean of the College from 2006-2009.
