Tom Gosper



David Tighe


David hails from the beautiful country town of Coonabarabran in northwest NSW. He enjoys throwing himself into his Medicine degree, of which he is in his fourth year. David has participated in three Warrane WorkCamps (Vanuatu, Vietnam, and Condobolin), and believes these are an excellent example of Warrane’s commitment to helping young men mature. You can catch David playing soccer in the cage, loudly making jokes at the coffee club, or in Warrane’s beloved library. Enjoys a 6 am run as much as the next bloke.
Austin Davis



Austin is an Electrical Engineering student and Co-Op Scholar of UNSW from Frenchs Forest, NSW. He will be entering his 3rd year at Warrane College. Last year he was a part of the Activities Committee as the 2018 Amenities Director bringing refreshments to sporting events and was a participant of the Warrane Vietnam Workcamp in 2017. Austin has also been known to referee the college soccer team when needed. He enjoys playing the piano and saxophone as well as card games (especially 500). Austin is the reigning sock wrestling champ of the college.
Andrew McGowan



Originally from Newcastle, Andrew McGowan is a Mechanical Engineering and Commerce student. An avid Manchester City supporter, Andrew is known for his love of football, his notorious formal dinner speeches and being the self-proclaimed king of FIFA at college. In 2019, Andrew enters his third year at college and will serve as President of the Activities Committee. Some of Andrew’s highlights at college so far have been travelling to Vanuatu for the 2018 Work Camp, appearing in many of the college sporting teams and last year serving as one of our two Social Directors on the Activities Committee.
Jayden Subramaniam



Jayden is a third-year medical student at UNSW. From Adelaide originally, he has stayed at Warrane for the entirety of his course so far. He is a sporting enthusiast and held the position of co-sports director in 2018. He particularly enjoys soccer and cricket, although he has given just about every sport a go. When he’s not studying or playing sport, you’ll probably find Jayden spending time with mates or binge-watching Game of Thrones.
Ryan Powell


Ryan is from Devonport, Tasmania and is in his 4th and final year of Electrical Engineering at UNSW. He has lived on the 6th floor for his entire time at the college and is a self-claimed cult figure of the floor. In his second year he took on the role as co-sports director and successfully defended the inter-college sports shield for the 6th consecutive year. Ryan spends a lot of his time and energy running and has represented Tasmania regularly in distance running. Aside from running, Ryan is a passionate St Kilda supporter and enjoys a good quality coffee. He’s spent two summers in the hydro energy industry and is passionate about the electricity market. Regular quotes: “Agh well, live and learn.” “Coffee?”
Chris Chan


Chris is a 5th and final year student at UNSW studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Law. He hails from the great(est) city of Hong Kong, but has been studying in Sydney since 2011. Chris has served on the Activities Committee as 2016 Sports Director and the 2017 President and was also a participant of the 2017 Vietnam Workcamp. You can catch him around the college chatting with residents, playing soccer in the cage, and battling law readings in the library. Probably eats more than you’d expect.
Hideo Ueda



Hideo is from Kobe, Japan and finished his secondary school education at the Australian International School Singapore in 2016. He is currently a third-year student at UNSW studying Civil Engineering with Architecture. In his second year at college, Hideo was elected as the co-sports director and defended the College Sports Shield for the 7th consecutive year. He is very passionate about soccer and has a cheerful personality. He can speak both English and Japanese fluently and loves traveling back to Japan to see his family and ski. He loves 80’s music and is interested in historical and modern buildings.
Simon Limbers



Simon is a 21-year-old student at the University of Sydney studying a combined degree of Arts and Economics, majoring in Psychology. He is currently working in North Sydney in a sales and HR role. He has also been involved in youth leader roles on global service projects, in locations such as Vietnam. Simon enjoys sports, in particular, rugby, tennis, and soccer.
