Short Stay

Warrane offers temporary accommodation to male guests during the academic year in the graduate wing of the College. Vacancies are limited during this period and rooms are best booked in advance.


Warrane College is a home away from home and cannot be compared to a bed and breakfast or backpacker’s hostel.

We believe the idea of “home” to mean an environment that is vibrant, inclusive and supportive. It is achieved by maintaining some basic standards and the promotion of collegial activities open to all. Warrane’s home environment reflects the College’s Christian ethos.


Different rates are charged depending on whether the guest is a full-time university student and the preferred choice of accommodation (shared facilities or en-suite).

Rates are quoted per night and include 3 meals per day and the use of all college facilities.


During the summer recess period (23 November 2018 – 9 February 2019), the discounted nightly rate is $60 per night for full-time students and $70 per night for other guests. En-Suite rooms are not available during the summer recess period.

How to apply


Applications are open to men over the age of 16 and can be made by completing the online application form.

After your application has been approved, you will be promptly issued an invoice for the duration of your stay. Your room is only secured once the invoice has been paid in full. You may cancel your booking up until 14 days before your due arrival date and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date, cancellation fees may apply.

On arrival, all guests will be given an orientation to the living environment and facilities offered by Warrane College.
