Parents Invade College

Parents and relatives of residents flocked to the College on Saturday May 21 for the annual Parents' Day.

More than 100 guests were treated to a buffet lunch followed by a variety show put on by residents. The show included individual and group musical performances, a comedy skit, and a one-act play- The Death Trap- written by the College Bursar Mr David Curran.

Mr Curran also entertained parents with a selection of Irish ballads.

During the afternoon the College Dean and Acting Master Arthur Escamilla and Senior Residential Tutor Chris Leung spoke with parents about the aims and ideals of the College.

The feedback from the event was very positive. One parent was even heard to say she was planning to send her daughter to Warrane.

The event concluded with afternoon tea and many guests took the opportunity to take a look around the College.
