Bursar Goes West

The College bus clocked over 3,000km in the most recent iteration of the annual Warrane post-Christmas road trip.

A group of 8 Warrane residents traveled to Broken Hill, stopping at a number of townships in north-west and and south-west NSW along the way. They also visited the homes of a number of current Warrane residents and old boys.

The trip is organised each year by the College Bursar, David Curran, who is entering his 27th year at Warrane. The group leaves on Boxing Day and usually returns on New Years Day, or thereabouts.

“Normally we go north, or south. But this year we went west” said Mr Curran. He also said that the trip often gives international students staying in the College over summer the chance to see more of Australia.
